About the Round Robin Calculator
A round robin splits a group of picks into several smaller parlays. This tool builds every parlay of the size you choose. Each parlay is a separate bet with its own stake.
How to use this calculator
- Choose how many picks, or legs, you have and how many go in each parlay.
- Enter the stake for each combination and the odds for each leg.
- Check the number of bets and total money at risk.
- Set each leg to Win, Loss, Push/void, or Pending to try different results.
Formula and definitions
- Number of bets = C(n, r) = n! ÷ [r! × (n − r)!].
- Total stake = number of bets × stake per combination.
- For a winning combination, multiply the decimal odds of all legs that did not push.
- Payout for that combination = stake per combination × combined decimal odds.
- n and r
- n is the total number of picks. r is the number used in each parlay.
- C(n, r)
- The number of different groups of r picks you can make from n picks.
- Factorial (!)
- Multiply all whole numbers from 1 to that number. 4! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 24; 0! = 1.
- Push or void
- A leg removed from its combinations. A combination with only pushes returns its stake.
Worked example
- Choose five legs and build every four-leg parlay. This gives five bets.
- At $1 per combination, your total stake is $5.
- If all legs are +100 and win, each parlay pays $16.
- Total payout is 5 × $16 = $80. Profit is $80 − $5 = $75.
How to read your result
Maximum payout assumes every leg wins. The simulated payout uses the results you select.
Net profit stays hidden while any combination is pending. An unfinished bet is not counted as a loss.
Assumptions and limitations
- One losing leg loses every combination that includes it. Pushes and voids remove the leg; combinations made only of pushes return the stake.
- If only one winning leg remains, this tool pays it at its single-bet odds. Check the sportsbook’s minimum-leg and void rules.
- The tool supports up to 15 legs. It does not adjust same-game prices, linked picks, dead heats, cash-outs, or payout limits.
Common mistake to avoid
The stake per combination is not your total stake. Ten picks split into three-leg parlays create 120 separate bets.

How many bets are in a 5-team round robin by 2s?
Five teams split into every two-leg parlay create 10 bets. At $5 per combination, the total stake is $50.
What happens if one leg pushes?
The tool removes it from each affected parlay. The remaining winning legs set the payout. A combination made only of pushes returns its stake. Check your sportsbook’s rules, which may differ.

Results use the formulas and assumptions above. Money is rounded to cents. Odds and percentages are rounded to make them easier to read.
